Our 2 day course is designed for absolute beginners who are ready to step into the world of nails with confidence. Whether you’ve never picked up an e-file before or you're looking for a career change, this training will guide you through every step of mastering builder gel.

You’ll learn everything from nail anatomy and prep, to flawless builder gel application, shaping, infills, and removal. With a strong focus on technique, hygiene, and client safety, you’ll leave with the confidence to perform high quality services and the knowledge to start your own business.

No experience? No problem! We’ll teach you the foundations and so much more.

    • Nail anatomy - structure of the nail. Nail layers, what layer enhancements stick best to

    • Nail diseases, disorders, infections and contradictions. causes, and treatments.

    • Cleaning practices, infection control, cross contamination, bacteriology, sanitation vs sterilisation. Keeping your workspace clean

    • Tools and equipment. Knowing the difference in e-file bits, lamps. What tools work best. Including e-file bit anatomy and flame bit use.

    • Nail product, different types of gel. What product will work best for your nails. Pros and cons for different products

    • Gel Chemistry, Heat spikes and Safety. PH and acidity. Potential reactions and heatspikes

    • How to correctly and safely use an e-file, Russian e-file cuticle prep, shaping, refill/ debulking, time saving techniques

    • Builder gel only - (BIAB) application. Self levelling technique. Importance of rubber base. Apex structure. Trouble shooting tips

    • Shaping and filing. Tips to save you time and get the best results. Helping your client choose the right shape and length for their nail shape and lifestyle

    • Refills, removals and repairs. Correct e-file technique and acetone safety. Should you soak off each set?

    • Client consultation. Before and after care. Working with allergies, pregnancies, diabetics

    • How to start your business. ABN start up. Registering your business, business tips to start you off strong
