  • We currently offer Builder Gel (BIAB on natural nails) and soft Gel extensions (with tips)

  • BIAB stands for Builder in a Bottle trademarked by the brand The Gel Bottle. It’s a type of builder gel that comes in a bottle with a brush, similar to normal gel polish, but it’s stronger and has to be applied a very specific way. BIAB is over natural nails only.

  • Yes! BIAB and builder gel is the exact same product. we often refer to both but mainly will say Builder Gel as the word BIAB is trademarked.

  • Gel x is short for Gel Extensions. Gel x is a professional nail extension system created by Apres Nail. It uses full-cover soft gel tips that are applied over the natural nail with gel, then cured under a lamp. Gel x is an extension / tips

  • Your first appointment can be booked online via the link bellow! After your first appointment, you’re always welcome to book in salon at your appointment.

  • You definitely can! Both BIAB and gel x systems work hand in hand together. If you're wanting to grow your natural nails but want to skip the awkward short faze, you can start of getting gel x and then let your natural nails grow out underneath! Then once you are happy with the length of your natural nails, we can easily make the switch over to BIAB

  • We have made the switch over to using all gel products! We found roughly 95% of our clients were having much better retention using gel products as soft gel is has more 'movement' and 'flexibility'

  • yes and no. We will only offer a refill over another Techs/ salon work if they are offer a high quality service and if we use the same products.

    We usually prefer to soak off other techs work so we can asses the health of the nail underneath the product.

    We will always soak off acrylic, sns or any other product that is not gel. Please ensure to book a removal if you have a non gel product already on.

  • We accept cash, eftpost or can be charged to your card saved on file.

  • The products we use can last anywhere from 3-5 weeks! We recommend no longer than 4 weeks as the added pressure of the regrowth can cause lifting.

    This is subject to many factors such as nail health, lifestyle, aftercare, medication and more. For more complex cases, please message us!

  • 100% YES!

    We use high end salon grade product, tools and equipment purchased from reputable suppliers. No cutting corners over here!

    All of our products are safe to use by both Em and Loz who are highly trained professionals.

    Our equipment such as our lamps, are high quality and maintained regularly. We ensure none of our products, tools or equipment are purchased from cheap and unregulated sites such as amazon or temu.

  • No you don't! We have training options for both students wanting to enter the industry and also for students who are in the industry and want to further increase their knowledge!

  • We currently offer in person training as we believe this is the most beneficial way to learn. An online training option will be coming

  • We have both private 1:1 training and 2:1 training options available upon request and availability. We like to keep our classes exclusive so we can be more attentive during our practical component.

  • Glad you asked! We have multiple different course options to suit your experience level and what you're wanting to learn!

    We have:

    • 2 Day beginner BIAB training

    • 2 day beginner Gel x training

    • 1 day BIAB up skill training

    • 1 day Gel x up skill training

    • 3 Day beginner to learn BOTH BIAB and Gel x training

    • 2 Day up skill for both BIAB and Gel x training

  • The course are from 1-3 days depending on your experience level. The days run from 6-9 hours

  • Yes absolutely! We offer UNLIMITED support after our training together for any advice related to the course! Hit us up at any time

  • Yes! All of our beginner training options include a kit with in the price. However a kit is not included for up skill training but can be purchased for an add on!

  • Yes! All of our training options have payment plans available. Usually 2-4 payments or we also have after pay!

  • Absolutely you can! Our beginner courses are designed to give you the knowledge and techniques so you're equipped to start your business!

  • At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion.

  • Just bring yourself! Everything we need will be provided for you. Including products and lunch!

  • Training is held at our studio! Located at 123 Canterbury Road Heathmont. Inside of Glam Theory Studios
