BIAB - Natural Nails
BIAB (Builder in a Bottle) is a gel overlay of your natural nails, no added length.
Helps assist in natural nail strength and growth. Can be refilled or soaked off.

Gel Extensions - added length
Gel extension (gel x) is a full cover tip adhered using gel, to add instant length to your nails.
Instant length, perfect for events. Also helps assist in natural nail growth and durability.
before and aftercare

Oil and moisturise your hands and cuticles leading up to your appointment.
Avoid these oils day of your appointment as it can effect adhesion.
Avoid picking / biting your skin and nails.
No need to trim or file or nails/ cuticles, we will do that for you!
Use a hand and body scrub 1-3 times a week (depending on your skin type) and the night before your appointment to help exfoliate the dry and dead skin.
Arrive with clean nails and hands

Apply cuticle oil and hand cream daily to keep nails hydrated. Our cuticle oil also helps promote healthy nail growth and strength. We recommend after every hand wash or at least morning and night. Cuticle oil and hand cream available to purchase in the salon!
Wear gloves when cleaning or washing dishes to protect from harsh chemicals and water.
Avoid having your nails in water for long periods. (swimming, bath, sauna, washing dishes with no gloves) Nails are made of keratin, a protein that absorbs and releases water meaning they dry, they shrink back down. This constant expanding and contracting makes the nail plate softer, weaker when wet, which then can make the nail peel away from the product or cause the natural nail to weaken.
Avoid using your nails as tools. No picking, peeling stickers / labels. Opening cans. Pressing buttons, using the tip of your nails for seatbelt and toilet button ect. Scratching scraping food off dishes, dirt.
Book your infills/maintenance every 3-4 weeks or before lifting occurs, for the best results!

Please arrive to your appointment on time. We have a 10 minute grace period. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be required to pay the full amount of the appointment originally booked in. Please message if you are running late.

Ticket inspector is often in. Please make sure to park in 2 hour parking at the top of the service lane / group of shops. Alternatively there is 2 hour and all day parking options on Campbell street.

A $40.50 booking fee is required to secure your appointment. $40 will be taken off of the total on the day. I understand this $40.50 is non-refundable but is transferable to future appointments. If you cancel/ reschedule your appointment with more than 48 hours notice, your $40 booking fee will remain as credit valid for 12 months from original appointment date.
Final payment will be made in salon. Cash, eftpos or The Gel Genie gift cards accepted

You are required to give 48 hours notice before canceling or rescheduling any appointment to avoid any fees. Any appointment canceled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours notice will not incur any fees.
Bookings that are canceled or rescheduled less than 48 hours, you will be required to pay $40 cancellation fee that will be charged to your card saved on file.
Bookings canceled less than 24 hours prior to appointment, the full amount of the service booked in will be charged to your card saved on file as a cancelation fee.
This includes rescheduling and/ or cancelling any appointment types.
This policy is set in place and will strictly be adhered to with no exceptions to any persons. (Including contracting Covid, work ect)

The Gel Genie does not offer refunds under any circumstance. At every step of the service, we always check in to see if you’re happy with, length, shape, colour, design and so forth.
No refunds can be made on $40.50 booking fee / deposit or once full payment has been made.
We offer free repairs with in the first 4 days of the appointment. Any damage after 4 days is out of our control but we are always happy to fix it at a discussed price!
